I volunteer my time as a mentor to several men ranging in ages from 25-55.  I am active with these people in guiding them through the process of giving up and staying off of drugs.  

I have worked with incarcerated men through a sponsorship program known as The Queens Area Outreach Program.  This is through Narcotics Anonymous.  I have worked with men in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Maryland, and California.  While most of this was done through the mail, I invested my own time and money to visit many of them in New York and Pennsylvania specifically.  

I have been a featured speaker at numerous Addiction Recovery Conventions throughout several states, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Utah and California.  The topics of these discussions included acceptance of personal responsibilities, dealing with the grief of loss, enjoying life without the use of mind altering substances, understanding the importance of a spiritual presence in your life and the power of sincere forgiveness (both giving and receiving) and it’s true meaning to the spirit.
